This study analyzed whether the activities of occupational gymnastic promote the satisfaction of the worker, generate motivational stimuli for carrying out their tasks, induce sentiments of welfare and good interpersonal relationships at work and within the family. The group sharing this research was composed of a population of 24 women and 20 men aged 20 to 51 years, who practice occupational gymnastics on the premises of a factory in the city of Presidente Prudente, five times a week, from Mondays to Fridays, during the morning and afternoon. The instrument of data collection was a questionnaire containing nine questions that aimed to identify the level of satisfaction, motivation and welfare of workers in the context of work and family. The inquiry proved that the occupational gymnastics is capable to improve the satisfaction of the worker with his task, since it causes happier and reduce body pains. The subjects declared that the practice of occupational gymnastics raises the will to share the domestic tasks, improve the disposition to the family leisure and causes a substantial change in the mood. The study showed, ultimately, that the workers became more eager with their bodies and with their personal health conditions.
