MICRODUREZA DE LA SUPERALEACIÓN NICKELVAC (N-90) MANUFACTURADA POR PULVIMETALURGIA
Abstract
Through powder metallurgy it was fabricated the nickelvac alloy, which is a superalloy mainly made by nickel. The fabricated alloy was homogenized at two different temperatures (1000 and 1065 °C during 2h) and later aged at 350°C during different times (0.5, 1, 2, and 3 h). From microhardness measurements realized in the samples, it was determined that the more time of aged meet, the more hardness reflected. From microstructure observations made by scanning electron microscopy, it was determined the formation of NixTiy-type precipitates, being these responsible for the microhardness improvement of the made alloy, these precipitates have their origin during the alloy aged.
