Bibliometric analysis of scientific research on issues of state administration of higher education in the sphere of physical culture and sports

The article examines the theoretical and methodological provisions of the development of higher education in the field of physical culture and sports in terms of determining the subject-objective state of research on issues related to state management of higher education in the field of physical culture and sports based on bibliometric analysis of scientific works contained in scientometric databases Scopus and Web of Science data. The first articles devoted to the study of education in the field of physical culture and sports were published in the Web of Science database in 1997, and in Scopus in 1969. Over the last 10 years, there has been an increase in the number of studies in this field. Ukraine is included in the list of countries that publish the most scientific works on the researched topic, which indicates that Ukrainian scientists are actively researching the issues of physical culture and sports for the development of new teaching and training methods, improvement of sports equipment and technologies, as well as for studying the impact of physical activity on a person’s health and psycho-emotional state. On the subject of «physical culture and sports», the most researches were carried out in the field of education and science, social and sports sciences. As a result of the analysis, the subject-object state of the research on issues related to state management of higher education in the field of physical culture and sports was determined, which creates a scientific basis for the formulation of a social problem in the part of higher education in the field of physical culture and sports, which identifies the need to review the mechanisms of state management.
