Perforated cholecystitis in a teenager with Crohn's disease
Abstract
Gallbladder perforation is a rare occurrence in children. We report a case of gallbladder perforation in a 15-year-old boy with Crohn's disease currently being treated with immunosuppressive therapy and corticosteroids. He was successfully treated with percutaneous drainage and interval cholecystectomy. Keywords: Gallbladder perforation, Crohn's disease, Corticosteroid
