A qualitative study on dietary distress of lung cancer patients during chemotherapy (肺癌患者化疗期间饮食困扰的质性研究)

Objective To understand the problems of diet management in patients with lung cancer during chemotherapy, and to provide reference for nursing interventions. Methods A total of 15 patients with lung cancer during chemotherapy from August 2020 to August 2021 were enrolled in this study. Semi structured in-depth interviews were conducted to collect the data of patients. The data were sorted out, analyzed and refined by content analysis. Results Five themes were extracted as follows: the uncertainty of diet knowledge, the obstacle of diet habit change, the diet difficulty caused by chemotherapy-induced reactions, the cultural conflict of traditional diet and the difficulty in obtaining diet information resources. Conclusion There are still many problems in the diet behavior of lung cancer patients during chemotherapy. It needs the joint efforts of medical and nursing patients' families to help patients establish good diet behavior, so as to better complete chemotherapy, improve the quality of life and prolong the survival period. (目的 了解肺癌患者化疗期间饮食管理中的困扰, 为制订护理干预措施提供参考。方法 采用目的抽样方法, 选取2020年8月—2021年8月符合纳入标准的15例肺癌化疗患者, 进行半结构式访谈, 收集患者资料, 将资料采用内容分析法进行整理、分析并提炼主题。结果 通过对访谈内容进行归纳, 提炼出5个主题, 即化疗反应造成饮食困难、 进食障碍的调整不足(进食失控、进食盲目、进食无奈)、饮食知识的认知不足、传统饮食的文化冲突和饮食信息资源的获取困扰。结论 肺癌患者化疗期间的饮食行为尚存在较多问题, 需医护患者家属多方的共同努力, 协助患者建立良好的饮食行为, 以期更好地完成化疗, 以期提高生命质量, 延长生存期。)
