Modelling of motor vehicle immissions in a street system by combination of Lagrange models and surface wind field simulation in complex city structures
Abstract
After reduction of emissions from the main industrial sources, the emissions from motor vehicles are becoming of increasing interest of the public. This situation is also reflected by a forthcoming German regulation. This paper presents an example showing that information on immissions in complex city structures caused by traffic can be obtained as early as in the planning stage using a combination of Lagrange despersion modelling and surface windfield simulation.
