On laboratory animals received experimental model of hyperthyroidism. The experiment was conducted on 46 adult white male rats of Wistar weighing 250-300 g by administration of L-thyroxine in the dose 1,6 mg per 1 kg of body weight. In an experiment to determine the level of thyroid hormones and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) in the blood, conducted histological examination of the thyroid gland. An increase in thyroid hormone levels in the blood of rats and correspondingly decrease TSH. Histological findings showed that the exogenous tiretoksikoze occurs morphological restructuring of the gland as in the parenchyma and stroma. In the parenchyma observed atrophy and deformation lobules downsizing tireotsitov and their nuclei, the violation ratio of small and large follicles and proliferative activity of the follicular epithelium. In the stroma glands develop sclerotic changes. Described histological changes confirmed by morphometric and immunohistochemical data showed a reduction in proliferation index (Ki- 67) and increased apoptotic index tireotsitov (P-53).
