Abstract

After dealing with topics concerning globalization and crime along with its relevant transformation, the author focuses on those crimes related to white collar –criminality and committed on behalf of organized crime. Then he considers the possibility of applying Kurt Lewin’s topological psychology to the interpretation of crime: in particular, the attention is directed to the formula: B = f (P, C) ,which should account for the criminal behaviour of a person by relating this behaviour to the state of the person and to the characteristics of his/her environment. Because of its importance for the scientific research and for its practical applications, the author proposes the great value even for criminology of Kurt Lewin’s approach.
