Rarity in Common Palatal Pathology: A Diagnostic Dilemma of Enigmatic Case on Palatal Swelling

Abstract

Palatal lesions pose a great challenge for clinicians to diagnose. It is one of the myriad regions of the oral cavity with an array of tissues that may give rise to a plethora of different pathologies. In-depth knowledge of anatomy with proper investigation remains the key to success in the diagnosis and treatment of palatal lesions along with a high index of clinical suspicion. In this paper, we present a rare case report of traumatic neuroma at an unusual site of the palate.
