Integration of Resources of Public Libraries of Ukraine Through the Formation of Corporate Electronic Catalogs

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to determine the relevant features of integration of resources of Ukrainian public libraries with in the framework of the formation of corporate electronic catalogs. The methodological basis of the article were formallogical and socio-communication approaches; Methods of analysis and synthesis, the method of generalization, which made it possible to fully realize the purpose of the study. Scientific novelty is to substantiate the topical features of integration of resources of public libraries of Ukraine with in the framework of the formation of corporate electronic catalogs. Conclusions. The presented study showed that the study of the experience of integration of resources of public libraries of Ukraine through the formation of corporate electronic catalogs makes it possible to fully characterize the general situation in the Ukrainian library industry, as a set in acertain the matic area of activity, or species orientation. Despite the absence of the general concept of the library corporate movement, in Ukraine positive examples of cooperation and partnership of libraries at the regional and interregional levels, according to the departmental and interagency principle, sectoral and inter -sectoral interaction.
