Abstract

Bartolo Longo is an example of a man who, despite being in a sect for a time, converted, made amends for his faults, became an apostle of the rosary, the initiator of the shrine at Pompeii, and ultimately a blessed of the Church. The article first presents his life story. Then it describes the pitfalls of psychomanipulation. And in the third part, it explains the process of conversion and the importance of the atonement that makes conversion complete.
