The work deliberates judicial protection of social and economic rights. A comparative overview of labor and social judiciary on two poles of European social model is given. On one side resolution of labor and social disputes in Danish and Swedish court procedure as representatives of the Nordic social democratic model of welfare state is analyzed, where public interest for social system security is emphasized and the role of social partners in resolving labor disputes is relevant. On the other side labor and social judiciary of Spain and Italy as representatives of Mediterranean model of welfare state is reviewed as a model defined by specialization of labor and social judiciary in procedural but not organizational way. All this is analyzed with the aim of affirmation of institutionalization of specialized professional judiciary for resolving labor and social disputes in our legal system.
