The advent of smart cities has ushered in a new era of urban development, characterized by the integration of innovative technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT), big data analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance the efficiency of city services and the quality of life for its inhabitants. These defining features aim to address the complex challenges of urbanization, sustainability, and resilience. Concurrently, the concept of authenticity in urban development has gained prominence, emphasizing the preservation of historical, cultural, and social integrity amidst rapid urban transformation.
