NATIONAL IDEA OF RUSSIA AS A FACTOR IN INCREASING THE VIABILITY OF THE COUNTRY

Abstract

In the paper the author analyses the concept of «viability» of the country in the context of the «national idea». The conclusion is that the «national idea» of Russia can enhance the vitality of the country and maintain its identity, with the help of the creating social energy of the Russian people and of the power elite. The important mobilizing resource of the «national idea» is the formation spiritual-moral values in the Russian society through education, training, culture, religion and science.
