Dermoid tumors that take origin from ectoderm and mesoderm laminas, are a kind of teratoma and very rare tumors of the head and neck region. In general these lesıons are stemmed, smooth surfaced, found on skin appendages and present with sympthoms ranging from intermittent cough and dysphagia to respiratory distress according to it’s location and size. In our study we reported a nasopharyngeal dermoid cyst case in a 28-years-old male patient which is rarely encountered for nasopharynx and we also discussed the treatment methods along with literature.
