Recreational qualities of Toruń poviat as an attractive place for tourist business

Abstract

Toruń and the surrounding area is a very attractive place in terms of tourism. The old town entered on the UNESCO list, numerous places worth visiting in the Poviat attract tourists from virtually all over the world. The growing interest in spending time actively means that tourists visiting the city will look for tourist attractions and recreational activities. The aim of the article is to analyze the state and perspectives of development of recreational values of Toruń and Poviat both for individual tourists and for whole groups, including business and congress tourism.
