Didactic model for the teaching-learning process of concert music appreciation

Appreciate concert music as a musical typology over time and its consolidation due to its aesthetic values, as opposed to fashionable music and other short-lived compositions; constitutes a challenge for the new generations. From this initial assessment, the article sets as its objective: to present a didactic model that contributes to the teaching-learning process for the appreciation of concert music, in the 2nd year students of the Artistic Education career. As the methodological basis of the research, the general dialectical-materialist method was assumed and methods of the theoretical, empirical and statistical-mathematical level were used, such as: historical-logical, modeling, systemic-structural functional, documentary analysis, observation, interview, and pedagogical test. The main results were in the didactic model, which is based on the determination of the new relationships that are established between the didactic components that intervene in the teaching-learning process for the appreciation of concert music, from a developer didactics and its link with teaching, extra-teaching and extra-curricular activity, as well as with appreciation levels. These relationships enrich the didactics of Musical Education, offering coherence and internal logic.
