Academic production analysis in Physical Education field about São Paulo state curriculum and their implications to pedagogical practice

This study aimed to analyze qualitatively and quantitatively the academic production in Physical Education about São Paulo State Oficial Curriculum, in order to identify their implications for pedagogical practice. We analyzed papers published in 9 national journals of the area and a national database of theses and dissertations, during the period from 2008 to 2014. For analysis and discussion of data we initially present the results of investigation journals aiming at a second stage, comprehend in a qualitative approach the general picture regarding to this production. Only 16 studies were found, corresponding to 2.69% of the total studies. These productions were organized according to the classification proposed by Bracht and colleagues(2011), which evidenced that the majority of the studies can be seen in the “purpose” category.
