This article aims to summarize the metaphysics of love and death in the drama Tristan und Isolde by Richard Wagner. Through some quotes from the works of the philosopher Schopenhauer, it is possible to verify that Wagner made use of philosophy to finish his drama, is the staging, in the libretto, or in their texts.
