NEW ENERGY LANDSCAPE IN THE MIDDLE EAST
Abstract
This article discusses the latest developments in the Middle East energy market, the impact of international events on it. Substantiates necessity of a thorough study of the problems in the energy security. Analyzes the position of the world’s leading players on the world stage on issues of energy supply and economic changes associated with the emergence of the latest technologies for the extraction of raw materials, energy consumption growth and the subsequent formation of a new energy landscape in the Middle East. Energy diplomacy as an instrument of foreign policy considered at the global and regional levels to reflect changes in the energy policy of the leading oil-producing countries in the Middle East. Through studying Russian and foreign experience, the authors conclude that to build a secure energy landscape in the Middle East one should follow the main principles - diversification of supplies and intra constructive dialogue
