Aberrant right subclavian artery – A roadblock for radial interventionalists
Abstract
Extreme difficulty was faced while negotiating diagnostic catheter in a septuagenarian hypertensive male undergoing transradial coronary angiography due to the long tortuous course of the aortic arch. Biplane imaging helped in unearthing an aberrant right subclavian artery originating anomalously from the descending thoracic aorta.
