The paper deals with the new night-clubs in France and Italy around the mid-Sixties. From Golf Drouot in Paris to Piper Pluriclub in Turin, they were influenced by the new Anglo-Saxon musical, fashion and cultural trends, design in cooperation between the new Radical Architects, and the Kinetic, Pop and “Arte Povera” artists. In this way, they provided their young peers with places where to gather and share their interests, thus helping to shape the new young Yéyé and Beatnik generation, soon politically and socially engaged.
