THERMAL EVOLUTION OF CALCIUM PHOSPHATE FOAM CERAMICS OBTAINED ON THE BASIS OF HYDROXYAPATITE AND MONOCALCIUM PHOSPHATE OF MONOHYDRATE
Abstract
The introduction of a 15 – 85 wt.% powder of monocalcium phosphate monohydrate Ca(H2PO4)2 · H2O into the hydroxyapatite suspension after annealing at 1200°C leads to the formation of resorbable calcium phosphate phases (tricalcium phosphate, calcium pyrophosphate), which makes it possible to control the phase composition of foam ceramics.
