From the history of the Russian verb – perfectum (on the basis of the Radziwiłł Chronicle) The forms of perfectum that appear in the Radziwiłł Chronicle from the 15th century have been presented in the following article. On the basis of conducted analysis it has been stated that in the text the forms in which an auxiliary was not used predominate over the forms in which an auxiliary was retained. At the same time, it has been detected that among the forms of the second person, perfectum with an auxiliary constitutes the majority. Depending on the position of particular forms of the past tense in the sentence, it has been asserted that not always the part of speech that was expressed by the subject had the influence on the use of perfectum with or without the auxiliary word. The same remark applies to the character of syntactic construction. It shows that some of the forms with an auxiliary were used in accordance with tradition. On the basis of the text of the chronicle it has been stated that traditional record concerns the majority of personal forms (the second and third person singular, plural and dual grammatical number), except for the first person singular and plural.
