The impact of indirect evaporative cooling chiller exhaust air on incoming air
Abstract
The dryness of inlet air directly affects the temperature of cold air and chilled water made by evaporative cooling equipment. To solve the problem of high humidity exhaust air during the operation of chiller units and improve the performance of the units, the factors influencing exhaust air and inlet air were analyzed by using the theory related to fluid mechanics jet, the discriminatory formula of whether exhaust air affects inlet air was derived, establish the airflow organization model of the influence of exhaust air on inlet air of indirect evaporative cooling chiller units, the influence of the unit′s was analyzed. At the same time, the flow field characteristics of the air outlet and air inlet of the unit were analyzed, and the movement of the wet air mass was calculated by the theoretical formula, and the actual unit size was used to analyze the situation of high humidity exhaust air being sucked into the unit by the air inlet. The results show that the least wet air is sucked in when the speed of the air inlet is 3 m/s and the air speed of the air outlet is 9.8 m/s.
