Abstract

The article is dedicated to the connection between Pessoa’s narrative production, particularly the detective stories, and cinema. The central object of analysis consists of some fragments from a script written by Luísa Costa Gomes as part of a television adaptation of the series Quaresma, Decifrador. The aim is to identify the sources and reflect on the process of intersemiotic translation undertaken by the author.
