In modern conditions, managing digital transformational changes is becoming a natural trend in the management response to the accelerated pace of revolutionary changes in the economy during the transition from Industry 4.0 to Industry 5.0. It manifests itself most clearly in highly dynamic and innovatively active industries and areas of economic activity, which include logistics, which determines the goal of this study – to provide scientific and methodological support for the processes of digital transformation of logistics through change management in achieving its digital maturity. The goal is achieved by solving problems related to: study of change management models with the prospect of their adaptation to the tasks of managing digital transformational changes in logistics; development of an integrated approach to managing transformational changes with an assessment of the maturity of information technology transformations in the process of digital transformation of logistics; substantiation of proposals for the formation of metrics of digital and intellectual maturity of logistics in organizations. The choice of methods-approaches and methods-techniques of system analysis, model design, logic of justification of assessments and formation of evaluative judgments is subject to the content of the tasks to be solved. The study is carried out by analytical comparison of the main models used in change management and innovation management models, when distinguishing between the target guidelines of management for the implementation of innovations with the expectation of obtaining the expected effects and for the effective implementation of innovations with the achievement of real effects, respectively. The new scientific result of the research is the construction of a functional model for managing transformational changes in the relationship between general economic and special management functions with the allocated area of forming evaluative judgments regarding the quality of transformations, taking into account the maturity criterion. The applied maturity context of quality assessment is presented in the context of the innovative dynamics of the “digitalization – digital transformation” process, where the digital transformation of logistics is considered a consequence of digitalization and a prerequisite for the transition to intellectualization as the highest form of manifestation of digitalization in the context of modern information technology realities. Further development of the functional model is seen in ensuring its multidimensional structure, where, along with changing the object of transformation (digital development of logistics), a change in the subject (competency development of decision-makers on logistics transformation) and a change in the management of transformation processes are envisaged.
