DEVELOPMENT AND PERFORMANCE EVALUATION OF A RADAR SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM

Abstract

In this study, with the help of the Pofacets program implemented in MATLAB, a complex object will be created and its behavior in the 400 MHz-30 GHz frequency band will be analyse in a monostatic and bistatic way. The Pofacets program is a graphical interface used in the analysis of the effective reflection surface based on the method of optical approximations. From theory it follows that the actual reflection surface depends on the ratio between the dimensions of the object and the wavelength used. [4]
