A model for managing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises is proposed.Competitiveness is one of the essential indicators of the state of the enterprise as an economic (production) system, which determines the prospect of its further development, the ability to achieve strategic goals and objectives. The theory and methodology of forming effective systems of enterprise development management and their potential are not static, but dynamically evolving, based on constantly changing theories of the environment and requiring enterprises in the view of the time and space dimension of the position and direction of action in strategic zones піof management and ensuring their competitiveness as subjects of business activity. This is an objective interconnected process. The basis for building a successful enterprise competitiveness management system should also take into account, in addition to the general theoretical and methodological approach, the basic principles of strategic development of enterprises and the formation of management as a system integrity in the context of the chosen topic of research. On the basis of the generalization of the scientific viewpoints on the substantiation of the basic principles of the formation of a productive system of enterprise competitiveness management, ambiguity in their approaches has been identified in the allocation and systematization of the principles of integrity.Development and quality of life, competitiveness and strategic development of enterprises as social-economic systems are considered in the organic interconnection and interdependence.Effectiveness of changes in the internal system environment determines the level of formation of the capacity (competitiveness) of enterprises as entities of proposals and the basic basis for ensuring their competitiveness in the relevant market segments and strategic zones of management.Ensuring strategic development of enterprises requires the formation of a productive system for managing the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises
