Ankara Poolsides: 1923-1950

Abstract

In this paper, by the proclamation of Ankara as the capital city of Turkey socialization spaces which are created with pools will be examined in terms of transformation and place of these spaces in memories by searching archives (such as newspapers, periodicals and photograph archives of the period) and published memoirs. Besides, the derived information will be supported with interviews.
