EVALUATING A MANAGEMENT SYSTEM OF ELECTRONIC COURT FILES ACCORDING TO ARGENTINE MODERNIZATION PLAN

Abstract

The Modernization Plan decree was promulgated in early 2016 in order to renew electronic government efforts in Argentina. Some of its objectives include to transparent the management of government processes, to establish a digital schedule and to promote state efficiency. San Luis is among the pioneering provinces leading e-government in Argentina since its implementation as part of its agenda at the beginning of the 21st century. In fact, the province enabled one of the first management system of electronic court files in the country. This paper describes e-government in San Luis and focuses on the judicial electronic management system under the light of the Modernization Plan decree. This study uncovers improvement opportunities and it suggests a series of actions to be carried out.
