Modern solutions to improve the quality of medical care for stroke patients

Abstract

Background. On February 20, 2024, as part of the anniversary XX Interdisciplinary Conference with international participation "Veinovskie Chtenia", a round table was held on the topic "Modern solutions to improve the quality of medical care for stroke patients". The round table was attended by leading experts in this field. The experts focused on improving approaches to rehabilitation as the main task of improving the level of medical care, as well as the regulatory framework and practical solutions, including international experience in organizing nutritional support for stroke patients at all stages of rehabilitation.Conclusion. It was noted that adequate nutritional support for stroke patients leads to an increase in their rehabilitation potential, a reduction in hospital stay, an improvement in the quality of life and indicators of physical recovery.
