During ten years, the Surrealist group and the Communist Party attempt to get closer to each other, but with no success and, paradoxacally, due to their common beliefs. They both adhere to the avant-garde and share the same desire to destroy capitalist society and bourgeois values. Whereas the Surrealist group belongs to the poetic avant-garde, the Communist Party to that of the political one. Both consider their point of view superior to the other. Their priorities are not the same and their members think, act and live differently.
