Effect of the permeability of the square balk on the flow and heat transfer

Abstract

No isothermal viscous incompressible fluid flow past a porous permeable balk of square cross section was investigated. The equations of the conservation of the momentum and energy are solved numerically using the finite volume method. The flow pattern, the dependence of the drag and the cylinder Nusselt number on the Reynolds number, Darcy was analyzed.
