Etnonarrative investigation of nursing prototype in rewriting of traditional stories (Little Red Riding Hood)
Abstract
The present article tries to demonstrate the presence of elements conforming nursing prototype in Traditional Tales such as Little Red Riding Hood, which will allow a better understanding of the new nursing care within the etnonarrative paradigm. For that purpose, different defining elements will be explained, such as similarities with informal care (family support network as in the case of Little Red Riding Hood), and daily life historic literary Nursing Care will be described, as well as the adaptation of work to diverse Nursing Models such as those of Dorotea Orem, Virginia Henderson and Ernestina Wiedenbach.
