Mettre en scène Sam Shepard en France en 2022 : entretien avec Jean-Paul Bibé

Abstract

Jean Paul Bibé adapted and staged Fool for Love at the Grand Rond theatre (Toulouse) in March 2022. Following his participation in a theatre seminar (Anglophone Contemporary Theatre) organized by Marianne Drugeon (Montpellier-Paul Valéry University), Emeline Jouve and Sophie Maruéjouls-Koch (Toulouse-Jean Jaurès University), he accepted to talk about his work on Shepard which started in 2014 with his adaptation of five short stories from the collection Great Dream of Heaven and ended in 2022 with his staging of Fool for Love as the last chapter in his Shepardian trilogy.
