SOIL POLLUTION WITH CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS

Abstract

The paper presents general aspects regarding the importance of chemical fertilizers for agriculture and for the development of the economy, their classification and agrochemical aspects. The stages of nitrogen transformation in soil are: fixation, assimilation, ammonification, nitrification and denitrification. Chemistry of agriculture through the uncontrolled and inappropriate use of chemical fertilizers correlates with environmental problems and the soil is subject to a complex impact.
