Social conditions that determine the existence of the Data Base course in teacher training computer

Abstract

One of the transformations of the nowadays school is the introduction of Computer Science to all teaching levels, either as study object, working tool or teaching aid, and the formation of the teaching staff to afford the task, which are directly related with the Institute. Due to that since 2002-2003 school-term, there appears the University Studies on Computer Sciences in the Institute. This article gives a panorama about the need that the Cuban society has to form Computer Science professors and also to create the socio-historical conditions that pave the way for the existence of Data Base Subject within the study plan.
