Ferreira Gullar and his last combat

Abstract

This work aims to update another study, which I carried on about Ferreira Gullar’s trajectory (CAMENIETZKI, 2006). This last one aimed to investigate the author’s last publications (Em alguma parte alguma and the Autobiografia poética and other texts) and the public debate he had with Augusto Campos in 2016, few months before passing away. As rare witness of our literary tradition, in a ceaseless effort to translate himself, the poet offers us a trajectory of intense search and radical changes. Since his work Cultura posta em questão, published in 1965 until the release of autobiografia poética, in 2015, it has been 50 years of intense reflection about his own work of creation. In the light of this vocation, we will make a critical analysis of this effort of invention and clarification in which Ferreira Gullar does in his poetry. --- DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.25094/rtp.2017n23a466
