Central Mucoepidermoid carcinoma (CMEC) is a peculiar primary intraosseous bone lesion with an occurrence of 2–4.3% of all recorded MECs (Spoorthi et al., 2013 Jun 20) [2]. This article discusses an unusual case of intra-osseous maxilar mucoepidermoid in a 30-year-old female patient. The patient was diagnosed with a dentogenic cyst following extraction of the upper right molar (rare site). Clinically, these lesions are typical of low-grade with a positively predicted prognosis (Spoorthi et al., 2013; Merna et al., 2018) [2,3]
