Our objective is to evaluate the impact of Nigerian International Migrants Remittances on food security in agricultural households in Nigeria. On the 2015/2016 General Household Survey (GHS-3-2015/2016) database, we construct five Self-Assessment of Food Security (SAFS) indicators. We use the Propensity Scores matching method to estimate the impact of these Remittances on the five indicators. Results show no difference between households with remittances and those without, in four out of the five indicators. We then conclude that remittances don’t impact food security of the agricultural households in Nigeria.
