The teaching of foreign languages challenges teachers to find new engaging and effective ways to teach, such as using comics to promote teaching/learning and assess language skills. This article examines the use of comics as an assessment tool, by analyzing the results of an activity conducted with a group of students learning Italian as a foreign language. The objective is to explore the impact and potential of implementing comics as an assessment tool in the didactic of Italian as a foreign language, enhancing learners’skills and opening new perspectives for innovation in the assessment of foreign language teaching/learning.
