FORM CREATIVITY STRATEGIES IN DISCRETE STRUCTURE MODELING IN DESIGN

Abstract

Some current issues in regular discrete structure geometric form generation are considered with reference to different areas of design and architecture, and promising directions/trends in their development are identified. The potentialities of discrete form modeling for different objects of design are reviewed in the context of various social and technical strategies as determining factors of form creation. Prospects for effective practical applications of regular discrete structures as objects of industrial design are highlighted.
