INVASIVE SPECIES IN THE FLORA OF THE SOUTH OF THE RUSSIAN FAR EAST

Abstract

The floraof the Russian Far Easthas 676 alien species, accounting for 15,1% of the natural floraof vascular plants.Distribution ofthe 20 most aggressive invasive plant speciescan lead to catastrophic and irreversible changesin ecosystems and become aserious environmental problem.
