Agreement between estimated computed tomography perfusion ischemic core and follow-up infarct on diffusion-weighted imaging

Abstract

Key points CTP-estimated ischemic core has moderate volumetric and spatial agreement with the infarct lesion on 24 h follow-up DWI. The studied CTP software shows similar performance to the most used CTP softwares and can be used interchangeably. Severe ischemic core overestimation by the CTP software was relatively uncommon.
