Administrative process evaluation of three selected Savings and Credit Cooperatives in Quito city

Abstract

The administrative management of the cooperative involves the active participation and joint of its members in the Government and management of the organization. The objective of the research was to assess the administrative management of three cooperative selected of saving and credit of the canton “Quito”. The scientific methods used were: theoretical methods such as: the historical method, logical method through the dialectic method, systemic method; and methods empirical where was applied the technique of the survey and methods of measurement, they reflected that the cooperative studied, have a moderate performance with regard to its administrative management and a low level of participation of members as managers of the organization. The applied survey results show the importance of an efficient administrative management in cooperatives, where it is very necessary the application of cooperative principles to achieve a harmonious environment, in social and economic aspects as well as in the need for the participation of the partners as managers and decision makers, to generate the development of social activities.
