Il corpo-archivio nelle politiche della memoria: il caso di Pina Bausch
Abstract
In this article, I take into account some reflections regarding the setting up of my doctoral research based on the study of the functioning of memory and the transmission of knowledge that has been underway since 2009, the year of the death of the choreographer Pina Bausch, both at the Bausch Foundation and at the dance company Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch. In particular, I dwell on the way in which the notion of "body-archive" has articulated and taken shape during my study. On the one hand, I was able to observe this notion at work in the dancers and ex dancers of the company I interviewed (Beatrice Libonati, Antonio Carallo, Marigia Maggipinto, Aida Vainieri, Cristiana Morganti, Damiano Ottavio Bigi), and on the other hand, I experienced myself the functioning of this notion, especially in the anthropological and ethnographic phases of research, of which in this paper I explicit some aspects concerning for example the relationship between the different temporal dimensions, memory and the archive.
