LA METÁFORA EN ARISTÓTELES Y SU CONTRIBUCIÓN A LA COMPRENSIÓN METAPHOR IN ARISTOTLE AND ITS CONTRIBUTION TO COMPREHENSION
Abstract
En el siguiente artículo abordo aspectos específicos de la caracterización aristotélica de la metáfora. Sostengo que ella contribuye al logro de la comprensión, y que la forma en que lo hace va en íntima relación con el modo en que se configura en el lenguaje como uso expresivo. Para cumplir con el designio propuesto se revisan pasajes centrales sobre el tema en la filosofía aristotélica, se los discute, se los somete a valoración, y amplía reflexivamente.In this paper I discuss specific aspects of Aristotle's characterization of metaphor. I argue that the metaphor contributes to the understanding and that the way she does that is closely related to the way it is set in the language as expressive use. To meet the intended purpose central subject passages in Aristotle's philosophy are discussed, submitted to valuation and extended reflectively.
