Highlights PLCD1 is methylated and downregulated in RCC and functions as a tumor suppressor gene Inactivation of PLCD1 contributes to RCC tumorigenesis. PLCD1 inhibits WNT/β-catenin and EGFR-FAK-ERK signaling in RCC.
