This study happened in the Rural Family House (RFH) of Altamira (PA) and was based on the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP), documents and testimony of young farmers and biology monitor, in purpose to understand what prospects and challenges of pedagogy alternation developed by RFH/Altamira enables the teaching of Biology considering the teaching / learning methodologies used by the monitor during the regime by alternation and what biology teaching approaches are present in the reality of young farmers. To obtain the data collected was used the qualitative approach. The results show that working one natural science such as biology in alternation scheme requires that the monitor exceeds the urban educational perspective and academicism to promote education involving Science, Technology and Society (STS) and assists the alternate interpretation of the macroscopic languages, symbolic and microscopic, thereby making socially meaningful content.
